the Bright is a tale of resilience when the journey is lonely and treacherous for a little creature. You must survive and find your way to a new life despite winter, the loss you have experienced, and the trouble you continue to get into by no fault of your own. And even as you despair - there is still hope, and it is bright.
This has been a solo project, with all writing and assets done by me! (: If you have any questions/comments/constructive criticism/etc - leave a comment below!
This game contains loss of body parts (tail) and elements of despair/depression, so if you're squeamish to that - be warned!

This is so cute, and adorable and touching. Love the metaphor of losing/growing back its tail.
Art in this is so adorable and I was worried the entire time something would happen to the little lizard!
I love how 'The Bright' is portrayed throughout the story, how it gives you a glimpse of the little lizard's culture that they carry through, even as their familiar is stripped away. The way the image of the lizard changes as the story progresses is a really nice touch! ^^
OMG this is such a sweet, cute experience. I love the theme of resilience told through the tale of a little newt/gecko guy. Such a thoughtful and poetic way to express the theme! I also love the soft, airy, pastel look of the art to accompany this little cozy survival~
